"From Struggle to Strength"
Sharon's story is one of resilience, transformation and hope. For much of her life, she battled the challenges of being overweight, managing stress, and navigating the physical and emotional struggles that so many people face but often suffer through in silence. She understands first-hand that lasting health is about far more than food alone it's about healing the whole person.
Life brought Sharon to a crossroads during midlife when a series of significant events, including the devastating loss of her father to prostate cancer, triggered a period of deep depression. At her lowest point, she found herself questioning whether life was worth living and attempted to take her own life. Faced with the choice of remaining trapped in pain or creating change, Sharon embarked on a profound journey of emotional, physical and spiritual healing.
Determined to reclaim her health, she transformed her relationship with food, prioritised her wellbeing, and lost over seven stone in weight. As her physical health improved, so did her mental wellbeing, confidence and sense of purpose. Through this experience, Sharon discovered a powerful truth: when we nourish the body, support the mind, and address the root causes of our struggles, remarkable transformation becomes possible.
This personal journey ignited a passion that would change the course of her life. What began as a desire to heal herself evolved into a calling to help others do the same.
Today, Sharon is the founder of Nutrition for Mind & Body LTD. Drawing on both professional training and lived experience, she empowers individuals to achieve optimal health through personalised nutrition, movement, lifestyle and stress-management strategies.
Sharon's approach goes beyond calorie counting and quick-fix diets. She believes every individual is unique, and that true well-being comes from understanding the interconnected relationship between nutrition, mindset, emotions, lifestyle and overall health. Working through a holistic lens, she helps clients uncover their deeper motivations, identify obstacles standing in their way, and create sustainable habits that support long-term success.
At the heart of Sharon's coaching is compassion. She understands that meaningful change does not happen overnight. Together with her clients, she explores the deeper "why" behind their goals, building a strong foundation for lasting motivation and transformation. Combining evidence-based nutritional guidance with a holistic understanding of wellbeing, she helps clients create practical, achievable plans that fit their lives.
